Cloud Backup Solutions
Our Cloud Backup service replicates information from a locally installed device, which duplicates, compresses and encrypts data prior to transmitting it to the PC Works Cloud. There, it is stored securely behind our firewall. The whole process happens automatically, every day.
Not only does Cloud Backup enable you to meet regulatory and compliance requirements, but also ensures you won’t lose any critical data. If data is lost or corrupted, we will restore it back to the original site.
This new Cloud Backup service is offered in a utility-based model which is invoiced monthly. 
Disaster Recovery Service
Disaster Recovery as a Service
Whereas our Cloud Backup enables you to restore individual files, our Cloud-based Disaster Recovery service enables you to recover a complete image of each VM instance – meaning data, applications, operating systems, everything on the server – at an alternate location. You can designate critical applications for restoration in less than 24 hours by purchasing guaranteed capacity. Less critical applications are available for a longer restoration period (under best effort to supply capacity), at a reduced cost.
This service, which is only open to clients using our Cloud Backup, not only protects your data, but helps you create your own disaster recovery plan – a document many businesses lack. As part of our service, we provide a basic plan template that ensures you have the information you need in case of emergency – like contact phone numbers of your key personnel, and a plan of action. As with the Backup service, you pay convenient, predictable monthly payments, with no capital expenditures or large cash outlays.
